du réalisateur suisse Jean-Louis Roy.

Film d'espionnage à prétentions philosophiques, apocalyptiques, pyrotechniques et, au passage, tant soit peu, humoristiques.

On y emploie la focale courte et la recherche d'angles bizarres dans des décors conventionnellement étranges (à Liège, à Genève, et au Parc Güell à Barcelone, Gaudi travaillant gratuitement aux décors).

On y emploie aussi des gueules marquées et légèrement de traviole, Howard Vernon, Jacques Dufilho, Ben Carruthers (transparent), Marcel Imhoff, Serge Gainsbourg, Jacqueline Danno,

et, étrange entre toutes, celle de Daniel Emilfork

qui domine la distribution.

Seule Marie-France Boyer offre une figure douce. Elle sera tragiquement trompée tout au long du film.

Musique intéressante d'un certain Alphonse Roy (le frangin du réalisateur ?) au milieu de laquelle, comme un cheveu dans la soupe, tombe une chansonnette de Gainsbourg.

Allez, on peut se laisser prendre à l'ambiance, et même sourire et se payer des moments d'inquiétude — ou penser à autre chose, c'est le genre de film qui suggère les échappées rêveuse, j'trouve.

Artsy-fartsy spy movie, not necessarily to be taken as a spoof, the score and the filming being most of the time damned serious. We can get along. Some nice cars briefly shown in it.
