^ The Tree of Wooden Clogs is a wonderful film. And is possibly unique for an Italian film in having no Fiats. Although as it's set in about 1900, this is understandable.

imdb says there's a car-related goof - "When the grandfather and child are going outside to plant tomatoes a car can be seen whizzing by on the road in the background.". Anyone fancy looking??
