[Edit] Who won - a smaller controllable European car or one of the US land yachts which could demolish small houses? I'd bet the Rover lasted well.

 I remember a 1961 Ford Taunus 17m P3 near the Vauxhall Victor FB Estate, but it is probably not so important...!
