This movie came out in July of 1960, so it was presumably filmed in late 1959 when the Edsel brand was on it's very last legs, if not already axed since the 1960 model Edsels were only made from October 15th until the Edsel brand was killed off for good on November 15th of 1959, just a month later. Had they opted to make small European-style compact cars instead of land yachts, Edsel may have lasted longer. |
