 Ah... the Douglas Sirk steak. Exquisite melodrama. Tears at the funeral, vilero?

Title song "Imitation of Life" is also fantastic. Released for the first time on CD on "A Date With John Waters".

El Pais (newspaper) said about this movie: "is the melodrama par excellence. Sirk in pure state." and, certainly, it is. But in the funeral i was looking more the Crown Imperial than the tears of the bad daughter who didn't like being black.
