 Dziękuję Ci!! Thank you very much, I was actually looking for Japanese cars but I think Yokohama at that time was an American naval base, so most of the cars were American

While Yokosuka is the bigger USN port (with the 7th Fleet stationed there alongside the JMSDF), Yokohama still has some (albeit diminished) US military presence (see: Yokohama North Dock, Ikego and Negishi Housing Complexes)... That being said they're far less likely to drive around American cars now (in fact when I go to open bases I see more Japanese owned US cars in the areathan "Y-number" US cars).

Plus I wouldn't discount government and civilian-owned American cars since US models were status symbols at the time, some of which were sold to them by GIs.
