If I'm right, this movie is for mainland of China, not Hong Kong.

 The Corolla is product placement aimed at mainland Chinese audiences, but the Crown Comfort looks like a real Hong Kong taxi. Perhaps they filmed in Hong Kong for a day or two before or after going to France.

 If for Hong Kong audience, the producer will tend to filmed in Japan, because Hong Kong people like Japan more.
And, the Corolla will be [E160].
