I never new Beacon had an old factory for shoe burning. :/ :p

For the record, when we New Yorkers think of "Beacon," we think of that city across the Hudson River from Newburgh.

So did mine when my English skills started growing - and I kept wondering why in the world would it start burning in the night, because that never happened in our fridge. Anyway, times went by and now this is what crosses my mind when reading "Beacon". Always.

To clear up the confusion, Beacon Street is a major road in Boston.
