Just a question, what does the DVD Extras symbol really mean? There's Deleted Scenes, Extended Scenes (which is just more deleted footage so I count that with Deleted Scenes) and Alternate Endings, so what classes as DVD Extras if it's not one of the others? Something that's seen in Featurettes/Documentaries or any Behind the Scenes footage shouldn't count, in my opinion. -- Last edit: 2009-10-23 14:50:23 |

For one thing it could mean bloopers. Some DVDs include bloopers that have cars in them that weren't seen in the actual movie ("Arrested Development," for example, had a rare AMC Rebel that popped up inexplicably in the blooper reel). Some old TV shows had the casts doing commercials for cars that were only meant to be used one time and weren't part of the show, but weren't seperate commercials shown elsewhere either. A few of those have popped up on the site. Some trailer scenes have cars that weren't in the movie, and the footage was shot just for the trailer. And yes there is some behind the scenes footage on a few pages. This can be especially historic in the case of, say, a 1960s era western. |

There's also a Smart car in the background when Philip Seymour Hoffman enters the art gallery in Berlin. |
