midnight ◊ 2025-03-15 19:47	It has as many steps as required. There are some users who try and add entries that can't be validated for various reasons. It is annoying for non-admins to have to wait for images to be validated or pages to be updated if we're actually correct. As I stated this is why we (non-admins) can't have nice things.
Gamer ◊ 2025-03-15 19:50	I can't pretend to know what it was like, but they say this is how it used to be. You submitted a bunch of pics to the forum, and then they would be added to the site by the admins.

night cub ◊ 2025-03-15 20:48	Unfortunately, we get too much non-acceptable things submitted. So if didn't have a validation step, the site would have tons more crap and spam. We've even had to add extra steps to things like animation and non-fiction titles because of all the unacceptable material submitted.
