Upcoming 2014 indie flick about a news producer from NYC who goes back to her hometown in Louisiana to deal with some crap from her teen years on the high school debate team in the 1980's. http://www.asortofhomecoming.com/ Other cars will exist in this movie too: Link to "www.facebook.com" It sounds like a Lifetime Movie Network movie, but it isn't... so far. And yes, I think of the U2 song when I hear this title. -- Last edit: 2016-05-11 06:14:38 |

I finally got the chance to see this movie recently, and though I don't have any images yet, it included the following vehicles; -Jeep Grand Wagoneer (Background vehicle) -1978-80 Chevrolet Monte Carlo (Background vehicle) -1979 Ford LTD Station Wagon (Background vehicle) -Some anachronistic stock footage of NYC containing Ford Escape and Crown Victoria taxicabs (the flashback scenes from this movie take place in the mid-1980's) -An equally anachronistic Nissan Murano or Rogue (which if it's the former is almost ironic considering the starring actress in the movie). There's also a standard Peter Witt-type streetcar in the movie (Hey, it's New Orleans). UPDATE: 2016-05-20 14:22:23 This bus with the crappy version of MTA logos (combined with New Jersey Transit stripes) was used for bus scenes in NYC, but filmed in New Orleans: Link to "www.facebook.com" -- Last edit: 2016-05-20 14:51:27 |

A New Orleans Streetcar, and some NYC Taxicabs that don't belong in the 1980's. The only shots available of the Jeep Wagoneer and the Chevrolet Monte Carlo: And the link below proves the Monte Carlo was made between 1978 and 1980: Link to "www.facebook.com" -- Last edit: 2016-05-20 03:31:56 |
