Three part BBC TV series from 1991 which has vanished into obscurity. Pictures from a VHS transfer as nothing else available - quality therefore not good enough to show background vehicles in any useful detail. imdb entry very scant/incomplete, but it was a pretty good thriller - vaguely Edge of Darkness themes about environmental conspiracies, plus local government corruption and freemasonry, and classic Scottish hardman cliches - loners, impenetrable accents, black humour. Mostly filmed in Dundee (the city of 3 Js - jam, jute and journalism) and some scenes in and around Ullapool. Well worth tracking down, and an excellent soundtrack by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCEK9UG1n6M , Link to "www.amazon.co.uk" .

A lot of faked number plates - unissued combinations or switched from something totally different.

Both shots from ep3, set somewhere near Ullapool, although am not sure of the exact house. Rented from PLM Helicopters (inverness) with G-PLMC registration - now PDG Helicopters - http://www.pdghelicopters.com/ .

Film finished - if anyone ever finds a better quality copy there are a few 1* background cars which could be added - they're just too blurry to be worth it on mine as details not sufficiently clear.
