As already written about L'équipage (1935), Anatol Litvak first directed in France the filming of this screenplay based on Joseph Kessel's 1923 novel of the same name.<br>
In 1937, for his first Hollywood movie, he work on this remake using most of the air action... and even some ground action !

BTW, the car seen at 38'45 is a reused footage of the 1935 film (and you find it in a better still on the other page).
