 "acquire" has many meanings (if translated in German): http://www.dict.cc/?s=acquire The 16th from top on the list is closest to the reality. The 1st and the 10th definetely not. :/

 "Fahrradiebe" in the German title is wrong - spelt with two Ds (Fahrraddiebe - bicycle thieves)

In China market there're two worlds:

People buy these, because of the daily use.

And another one is high-end, with lots of foreign luxury cars.
People choose these because they want to show off themselves.
