or even italian productions with scenes set in italy, but that are simply ridiculous for us italians :D approximations have no boundaries.

they use "die welt" and "bmw" as random advert signage, and they pick up a red "police" volvo as a patrol car? at least they could have attempted to write "polizei"... the german language wasn't completely unknown there.

Definitely not. In the Sovietunion, but stock footage from West Germany (probably Hamburg, at one pic you see the Town House in the background.

Not only the Eastern scenes, at least any scenes, set in annother country :D Finally ANY scenes, filmed anywhere, but set in annother country are always ridicoulos. Even scenes as example, filmed in Austria, set in Germany or the other way around, are full with goofs.

You've talked about how fake Western scenes in Soviet films always have ads in stupid places, and here are some guys actually putting one up. :)
