1935 20-minute documentary about Brits leaving London because of

and going to the English south coast and doing lots of very old-fashioned activities and pastimes in the sunshine - http://www.screenonline.org.uk/film/id/1340426/ . Lots of interesting transport footage, including trains and boats, and something I've never seen before - a tandem with sidecar:

- looks jolly good fun, and I bet they drink lashings of ginger beer afterwards.

London scenes which I doubt have anything worth a page (but happy to be proved wrong):

No sign of this film on youtube or similar, but it is one of the Extra films on the DVD of From the Sea to the Land Beyond which uses a fair bit of footage from the 2nd quarter of Beside the Seaside. This page is therefore only for footage captures which were not used in FtSttLB, and the full Beside the Seaside list also contains these entries on the FtSttLB page:

For some reason the picture quality for these entries when seen in the Beside the Seaside clip on the DVD is slightly better than their insertions in FtSttLB so - for instance - number plates become slightly more legible. However differences are slight so have not upgraded the pictures.

 Planes for impdb - all from the same sequence of a grassy airfield offering pleasure trips or flights to Paris (see 5th thumb):
1] unknown registered G-ADAx, possibly G-ADAA if the letter on the wing applies:

2] 1934 De Havilland DH-84 Dragon 2 [c/n 6077] G-ACRF - http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/G-ACRF.html . The way the footage is spliced together is confusing, but eventually makes sense that both pictures are G-ACRF.
