2013 film about the D.C. sniper attacks of October 2002. The film's title is derived from the car that the D.C. snipers used during their killing spree, which was a blue 1990 Chevrolet Caprice, used as a former undercover police car from New Jersey. The snipers cut a hole at the rear of the car, which they used as a firing port. Doing so allowed them to fire and remain hidden. -- Last edit: 2013-04-18 22:34:14 |

I'm already noticing a lot of anachronisms, this is supposed to take place in 2002 but many newer cars are seen. -- Last edit: 2013-09-22 21:36:42 |

Even the traffic signal light is anachronism too My comments at Traffic Lights in Internet Movie Car Database. |

Despite what IMDb says, an article in the Washington Post said it was mostly filmed in Long Island, playing the role of Tacoma, Washington. Link to "www.washingtonpost.com" |

And the scenes in Antigua (a former British colony in the West Indies) were filmed in a Spanish-speaking country. /vehicle_631554.html |

Indeed. This leads me to wonder if this is supposed to be a recreation of the actual events or just a fictional story based (heavily) on it. The credits just give the character's first names, not their full ones. -- Last edit: 2013-10-31 09:02:58 |
