Seems to split opinion - many reviews dismiss it as too miserable - but I thought it was powerful. Based on a novel by Willy Vlautin who when he's not writing books (see also Lean On Pete), is singer with the excellent Richmond Fontaine. Filmed in Nevada, which may help with some of the registrations?? |
