@AnimatronixX - thanks for the heads up. I knew of Michael Rother somewhere in the background from when I had a big Brian Eno phase, as he did stuff with Cluster and with Roedelius, but had never ventured further. Am now investigating those 4 links. In the meantime can I trade you Nathan Salsburg - particularly Landwerk No.2, but Landwerk (No.1) and Third are pretty good. Also having a bulk discovery of Hiroshi Yoshimura - everything he's done seems good so far with no duds, but Green, Quiet Forest, Flora 1987, Face Music are all hitting my buttons at the moment. |

^ PS - am liking Flammende Herzen on first play through, but I wonder if he might have sold a few more records if he'd made an effort to produce interesting album covers - they all make him look like a second-rate cruise ship dance band. |

Yeah, agreed, he isn't the genius of self-marketing. Also, "Michael Rother" sounds like the neighbour on the first floor you borrow tomatoes from. Anyway, glad you like some of my suggestions. ![]() ![]() |
