Apparently it's based on a true story, but I couldn't find anything on the 'true story'

 Very loosely based on a true story. The real bear was found dead, surrounded by packets of cocaine, so it probably ate cocaine and dropped dead on the spot.

Yep. :lol: Very loosely to say the least... I watched it at the theatre last night, and ehhh, it was kind of like not what you would expect with a title like 'Cocaine Bear' :whistle: a little bit of a different pacing of sorts compared to your usual Sharknado-titled movies, but all in all, the movie was OK, just not what I was expecting.

Seems like movies about animals on drug-crazed rampages are becoming a thing! I wonder how long until we get Morphine Moose! Or perhaps Caribous on Crack... or Flamingoes on PCP :whistle:
