 Chilean movie based on a popular children's programme of the same name, that has puppets as main characters. The movie was filmed in Chile and Brazil. Most outdoor scenes are from the Brazilian filming, but the port scenes are from San Antonio, Chile. That's why there are different Chevrolet Opala on the pictures (at least different license plate shape, bumpers and Chevrolet logo on the bonnet).

Also, it seems like some Gurgel fan club was involved!
