 The fate of Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) doesn’t look good in this one. I hope they don’t kill her off. She has been one of the main characters since the first film.

 Not only does the fate of Gale Weathers not look good...but the fate of Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) looks pretty bad too!! :/ I've read some online rumors that say Campbell only agreed to come back for one more "Scream" (when she originally declined and said no) to kill off her character and be done with it--as supposedly "4" is the beginning of a new trilogy (5 & 6??) and also the opening chapter to new main characters. I will be truly sad and angered if they kill off all the "originals!" :( :mad: Sid, Dewey, and Gale ARE "Scream"!! But, all of this is just rumors...nothing's been definitely stated one way or the other. I can't wait for "4" and I'll go see it to find out.
