Yes, they should have a (more or less) 16:10 ratio, not a 16:9 one.

The Pontiac is a '51.
The Buick has '51/'52 style vent ports.

Thanks for these informations.
Weren't the 1949 Buick vent ports made that way too?
(It's just a question, as I have no doubt about the 1951-52 MY of that car: 1950 vent ports were square and above the fender, the 1953 ones had no cap, and this car has 1951+ fender :) )
