Another show added without comment? Whoever is adding these new shows, if you plan on working on them, please let us know.

Just watched the pilot and it was very apparent from the first moment that this was not filmed in the US (I was guessing Canada, but it's actually Australia), they had the main family driving a Nissan X-Trail. They couldn't even get the main family driving a SUV model that is sold in the United States. Then noticed lots of non-North American models. I thought I even saw a Suburban wearing Holden badges. The IMDB posters are giving it savage reviews.

Well, I was the one who added it, at first I thought I was gonna do it, but then, I thought I’d let someone else do it.

Perhaps they wanted the viewers to think it was Australia.

La Brea is a part of Los Angeles, just south of Hollywood, famous for The Le Brea Tar Pits. It was very much meant to be set in the US.

The title refers to the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles.

Since I am only here for the cars, I wouldn’t know that. You don’t think I waste my valuable declining years watching any of this cinematic garbage, surely!

Was filmed early 2021 (before our Lockdown 5 and current Lockdown 6) in Victoria, a lot up around Mount Macedon. I suspect a lot of cars pretending to be American. Hopefully some that I've seen in person!

The people who get sucked into the sinkhole are transported to a prehistoric Los Angeles. So they needed a place that could fill in for jungle LA and then a nearby city for modern LA, I guess that area fit the bill.

Whoever did the car casting for this show did a terrible job. Not just the XTrail and other non-US models that are clearly visible, but the sinkhole apparently claimed a significant portion of the Petersen Automotive Museum and yet so far no museum-quality classic automobiles have appeared.

At least we don't see them inevitably be destroyed [:sarcastic]

First 5 minutes of the pilot was available on Hulu Japan for free, so I gave it a watch. There was also a Tarago and Swift among the LA cars that still haven't been listed ATM.
