Excellent film on the worst period of Sovietic era . Based on true story of a red army Colonel Kotov and his wife, victim of stalinian purges in 1936.

Oh, yes. Has few breathtaking moments due to a shock.
However I love & remember best scenes with the balllighting flying inside home.
