The above photo is of actress Marie Marshall who occasionally played a character called "Solange," on the show. She sometimes drove this old Buick wagon around pretending to be a professional French caterer or photographer. As for the main characters of the series I believe that Mitzi Kapture's character of "Rita Lance" drove a black 1991 Jeep Renegade until like the last part of fourth season. Then she drove a Teal 1994 or '95 Chrysler Lebaron Convertible GTC. Rob Estes' character of "Chris Lorenzo" didn't have a personal car at first...but later got a "junker" primer-colored 1972 or '73 Dodge Charger. This was one of the few humorous or "joke" points of the show. Most of the police crusiers and/or vehicles were provided by Buick. Another character called "Cotton" on the show had a classic Black 1958 Lincoln Continental Convertible he called "Beauty." -- Last edit: 2008-01-01 08:25:11 |

Been a while since I've looked for cars on this show. Still can't believe this is the only car listed or shown here!  The cars I listed above, back in 07, should be ones pictured. I'll have to see about getting pics of them from the show. |

This is correct...it's supposed to be Palm Beach, Florida in the show. But, for cheaper production costs most of the series was actually filmed in both San Diego, California and Scottsdale, Arizona. I only have the first season, so it's ok if he wants to upload, but I see he only has the main car used by the detectives listed as a 2-star vehicle (despite the fact that the same car is already listed, as well as the LeSabre Police Car & Jeep Wrangler). -- Last edit: 2014-04-03 00:44:07 |

It is incredible that this series does not see conventional police vehicles by Stephen Canell. ¿Low budget? It seems so, in The Renegade they lent the PPV or Police Car 8 seasons very few cars, in terms of the location it seems more Californian than Florida, it shows on the beaches while Florida is hotter and many palm trees. -- Last edit: 2023-05-24 00:37:20 |
