Sorry, but annother small anecdote: once I ws talking with a guy, who worked as a cryptologist for a West German ministery. He told me, that the hottest girls, he ever had seen, have worked in the DDR-"embassy" in Bonn. :)
He had been there in 1990, when the unification was coming. He had to check and "downsize" the technicial stuff there. In fact the "Romeo-concept" (sorry, only in German or Polish: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romeo_%28Agent%29 ) was quite common at the DDR-spionage-service.
