 Who is the dignitary in the limo - is it Haile Salassie? Perhaps some research on him might sort out what the car is. Might be a Humber Imperial??

 Yes, its him. I was looking through google images, hes actually had a lot of older cars like that with rear only convertible... but none of them shared the body lines. This thing almost looks like a PT cruiser, way way before they were made though. I found the following "limo's":

1936 Auto Union - Horch 951 Pullman Limousine - full convertible roof, also lacking solid B & C pillars, suicide 1st row, reg 2nd row (backwards from green one). Body is very close, but nose seems too long. The video one slopes down sooner, where this hood is still straight.

Rolls-Royce Phantom II - Solid middle roof (2nd row), convertible front and rear (3rd row)

1928 Maybach W5 - lacks suicide 2nd doors, has 4th row seating almost like a hitch mounted rack hanging of the back end. Solid middle roof (2nd), convertible Front & Rear (3rd).


Most of them had similarities in some way, but the body's seem older design than whats in the video. That, and all of them are wrong in at least one way. The video flashback of him wasn't the highest image quality either, so hard to tell a lot of things.

The Humber ones look closer than any of these.

 The limo looks to be post WW2. The lines of the rear fender look like Humber Imperial.

 There is a Humber Imperial landaulette on this page - http://www.motorfestival.co.uk/humbers2.htm - but the position of the door handles does not match. Maybe some further research to do.
