Captures from HD Theatrical Trailer Its a Post-Apocalyptic thriller set in 2019 (I love these "civilization in decay" type movies) Charlize Theron ... |

Agreed as well, i like the way everything look after being abandoned and how a few ones need to make the impossible to survive |

Agree on all of your points. I'm hoping to read the book too someday. |

I read the book and it was good considering it was a short novel, I just need to see the movie. |

Finally got around to seeing this last night, sent the DVD back to Netflix too soon but there are a few vehicles missing... off the top of my head there's a Chevy Corsica that the main characters come into contact with, along with several other burned out hulks on the side of the road that might be hard to ID. |

There is also a brief scene using a 1971-76 (not sure of year) Cadillac Eldorado convertible, but only the interior is shown. It is one of the flashbacks that The Man has. |

My review: Panic in the Year Zero was freaky, (but still fun, in a rather serious way) No Blade of Grass was scary (by the way I did see the ending, the opening was chilling), Soylent Green was frightening (especially the opening photo sequence, I've never bothered to watch it entirely), but this movie was heartwarming, and even special in way. A father and son story is more lovely than a whole family and a group of others surviving the very thing destroyed by the thoughtless ravages of man: our own home. But after all this time, this story is something to be loved in return. |

kind of ironic that some post-apocalyptic ( or whatever happens ) movie would be filmed in a city called Harmony.. |

I can't find any location that was filmed in Harmony, PA. I don't think that's accurate. The other filming locations on IMDB are correct other than Braddock which I haven't confirmed yet. |
