I think there is a link, though I haven't seen the 99' film. Both have John Cassavette as writer... but 1999's is not on its own realization, but from Sidney Lumet... |

That's what I was going to say... what is the interest of listing these separately? They are all the same color and seem identical except some stickers. |

Of course there is a link. The 1999 film is a remake of this one, a sad thing because "Gloria" was such a perfect movie, in his own way, that it should never have been remade. |

Maybe, but being all identical I do not see the interest of that (usually when "identical" cars get their own page they are not the same color and do not have the same role... here they are all yellow taxis) |

This is part of the film, Gena Rowlands is in the run all during the film..she uses many transports, taxi, bus and metro... more over , pictures of theses cabs are nice, and that's a tribute to the cineast too .gif ";)") ... so I assume these several main pics of Checker are legitims for this film |

That does not change anything to my opinion  In such case I would have listed one checker with 4 stars to represent all the Checkers to prevent from having "useless"(*) duplicate Checkers.(*)useless in term of site listing/contents as they represent the same model and have the same aspect, so the visitor would have find it both using Checkers listing or using movie listing. -- Last edit: 2007-10-03 15:41:49 |
