Is this one where the shooter drives a blue Ford Mustang and parks it at the Drive In during the daytime so it will be ready at night, and the projectionist is one of the famous horror movie stars like Lon Cheney or Boris Karloff? Oh, and the theater is having some kind of grand re-opening or something. |

I believe you're thinking of "Targets" (1968), the first film directed by Peter Bogdanovich. For the record, the shooter's Mustang was actually white, and he was sniping on the drive-in premiere of an old horror legend's latest movie (played, indeed, by Boris Karloff). Great movie. |
