clint thrust ◊ 2007-05-23 20:53	I think, although I'm not sure, at least two Austin 1100's can be seen in the background when Harry is in the car with Briggs. One can be seen just around the time they are driving down the windey street. Could someone check this as I don't have a copy and I'm really not sure.
klint ◊ 2007-07-23 23:29	In the end at 1:55:37 - 1:55:44 approx. an unusual black fourdoor sedan can be seen in the background. It´s a Lagonda Rapide, only 55 produced between 1961-65. Wonder what such a rare car was doing in the SF harbor 1973...

Neon ◊ 2012-10-16 01:20	This movie was already completed by Karoomay that is not really the kind of user that forget cars. I find worth to list 4-5 cars others are all already regrouped or extreme background vehicles hard to visible also in frame by frame mode.
typhlosion ◊ 2012-10-16 01:54	i dont like that term ''someone has completed this movie'' cuz that just means a mod or a higher up has worked on it last. yes some are a bit background. but you dont know till you try and ive mentioned before i've seen more than my fair share of waaaay to background cars get accepted especially a certain few people when it comes to european cars...... and if your gonna be like ''this has been completed'' well then you might as well go back to the old system we had before 2009....cuz we know how fun that was.... not trying to rant just voicing an opinion
Ford_Guy ◊ 2012-10-17 06:18	No, when the term "someone has completed this movie" is used to refer to a contribution by a trustworthy contributor (mod or not), it means just that. It has nothing to do with a mod or a "higher up" (which is redundant since mods are the higher ups). Besides, karoomay completed the film before he became a mod, so that's a moot point. If someone says that "this has been completed" and they are trustworthy, then it means just that. Besides, what "old system [that] we had before 2009" are you referring to? What we have now works just fine, don't make something out of nothing.

2491tj ◊ 2012-12-12 14:38	you"d be surprised how many people look at IMDB for details of the 2 aircraft carriers used at the end of the movie...and are disapointed to find no mention, so here goes......both were identical twins from the "Commencement Bay Class" type and were escort carriers "USS Badoeng Strait (CVE-166)" and "USS Rabaul (CVE-121)". Because they were identical there is no way of telling which is which in the movie......Rabaul was built and launched in 1945 and never saw active service. Badoeng Strait was built by Todd Pacific Shipyards Inc, tacoma washington and launched feb 1945,issued to the Pacific fleet the carrier operated out of San Diego until March 1946 then on 20 April 1946 she was decomissioned. recomissioned on 6 Jan 1947 and up till June 1950 she opersted in the Pacific as a test platform for anti submarine warfare equipment. From july 1950 to feb 1953 she completed 3 tours of duty in the Korea War on anti sub duty , after 1953 the ship was extensively modified and played a part in various Pacific Fleet exercises with new naval aircraft and helicopters.On 14 jan 1957 she sailed for Washington for inactivation, placed into reserve 17 may 1957 she was scrapped in 1972...one week before the cutters torches moved in, both carriers were used in the final chase sequence in the movie.
