 In three pictures (which are actually the same one) showing the Jensen, the Renault and the Wolseley, you can spot very far on the left in the background a German origin NSU Prinz 4, assembled in Ireland if I remember well... worth òisting I presume.

 ^ I wondered how much supposedly Irish filming was actually done in Ireland. The Minor and Cresta have badly faked "Irish" plates, and the LD van seems to be London from comments. However the Opel is much more likely to be Irish than London. Which leaves the car park scenes for debate, particularly if trying to match the Jensen - it could be either from the selection of contained cars. Prinzs were built in Dublin 1960-68 on the back of very successful bike (Quickly) assembly - Prinz II, III, 4 and even six examples of TTS.

The only clue for location which might really solve it is the tax disc in the Alpine windscreen - is it identifiable as UK or Irish style for 61/62??

 To clear something up: The shot of the LD van is the establishing shot of London (stock footage, most likely). Notice the Big Ben in the background and (I think) the statue of George Duke of Cambridge in Whitehall. It was to tell the audience that the scene now takes place in London.

The shot with the Opel is definitely in Dublin, Ireland. You can clearly see Daniel O'Connell statue in O'Connell Street. It's another establishing shot, to tell the audience that the scene now takes place in Dublin. However, the same car probably appears in another scene, so it's probably not stock footage. Also, notice there's the Alpine in that second pic with Opel, as well Morris Convertible and other cars.

The shot in the parking lot, outside of hotel, is confusing, because none of the locations listed on imdb fit the description for the building seen here.
And even though this doesn't make me an expert on irish or british architecture, but having lived in Ireland (County Cork) for about 2 years, I don't remember seeing buildings (or rather hotels) which looked like that, so it is likely that the scene was shot in the UK. Which probably means that the main cars (Alpine and Morris) were either shipped to Ireland (UK-registered, but with fake irish plates) to do the rest of the filming, or they just found 2 identical examples in Ireland (and used fake irish plates for an unknown reason). But that's just my observation.

Road signs in the countryside scenes looked irish as well.
