jpts ◊ 2015-12-16 16:39	This film was set in the Northern Territory capital of Darwin and Kununurra the Kimberley Region of Western Australia from 1939 to 1942 and had dealt with the events that occurred during World War II: The Bombing of Pearl Harbour - A pre-emptive bombing strike by the Japanese on the US Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbour, Hawaii on the morning of the 7th December 1941. (Mentioned in newsreel in the film). The Bombing of Darwin - A series of bombing strikes by the Japanese on Bathurst Island (Mission Island in the film) and Darwin on the morning of the 19th February 1942. The Arrival of the US armed forces - The arrival of the US Military Forces to Australia to help to defend Australia from the threat of Japanese Invasions from 1942 to 1945. The Stolen Generations - The policy of the force removal of half blooded Aboriginal children by the State and Territory Governments into white settlements and missions from 1905 to 1969.
