 Legendary horror movie for urban exploration freaks. The hospital where the filming took place is abandoned in real life too. Thanks for the pics, Stronghold :)

 I actually have a suede jacket identical to the one David Caruso wears in this movie (blue with brown sleeves). I bought it it K-Mart of all places, some time in the mid 1990s.

My dad has that same coat too, and he also bought his at K-Mart!

Danvers State is gone now unfortunately, it was torn down and turned into condos from 2005 to this year. I had a lot of fun up there with friends and was sad to see it go. All that was saved was the brick facade of the center section (a new building was constructed inside of that), but all of the buildings are technically gone.

It really was abandoned and this film described it very accurately. Our state had about a dozen other abandoned mental health facilities in addition to this one!
