8 minute film from 1924, part of the "Wonderful London" series produced by Graham Wilcox Films and directed by Harry B Parkinson & Frank Miller. Released in 2012 on a BFI dvd

with 12 of these films (apparently there were 20+ altogether). Can't find it on youtube, but this should work instead. "some favourite Sunday activities of Londoners" most of which seem to involve going round in crowds doing not much, and .....

... eating jellied eels. I've never had them, so have no idea what they're like. Has anyone in our happy band of food connoisseurs ever been brave enough, and did you enjoy them?? This report explains further, but is not recommended for anyone with delicate sensitivities.
