 Filmed at the suburb of Kawasaki (Ikuta, Yurigaoka)... Not that the area is really recognizable from how it looks in 2021 vs 1961...

EDIT: For reference, this is the same location in 2020 (Street View) and 1961... TBH I'm surprised the crossing still exists given how railway companies are on a crusade to get rid of them for decades.

That, and crossings are blamed for gridlocks during rush hour (開かずの踏切) since the crossings rarely become crossable.
