 Excellent thriller series with underlying quirky humour which pops up unexpectedly - Hilda and Geoffrey (the bonking tortoises - see the Subaru Brumby page) and this hospital sign

 Backfilled Z2's posts of S2.

Shifting S2 to Ireland didn't really work - still the skeleton of an interesting story and some chucklesome humour in the mix, but it all got too contrived, several plot holes opened up, and it just got stupid. Some hooks left at the end in case they do a third series, but if they do I hope they give it a radical reboot focusing on what made S1 a must watch.

Some subtle running jokes and little japes - S1 had a noticeboard with a couple of photos of an AH 3000 and a Holden HQ-Z(?) - as comments above, which were just there - nothing to do with plot, and no-one mentioned them. Ep 2.06 had something similarly random in the taxi office - a picture (from brochure?) of an early Singer Vogue (or perhaps Sceptre Mk1??) on the back of the door
