Filmed in Connecticut. I suppose that the state government offers tax breaks for film productions. :)

Is this another Steven Seagal film where his child gets kidnapped and he seeks revenge? ...

It is another Steven Seagal movie; that info is already enough IMHO :D (though that I liked "Exit Wounds"... but only that one)

I remember hearing about this on my local radio station last year. They stated all roads in the Bridgeport area were closed off due to the filming of a car chase. I almost skipped school to go see it, but driving halfway across the state wasn't ready for me. By looking at the police cars, it seems like they put lots of effort into this sequence.

Really? well it surprises me since it seems to be filmed in a simple block, they even go back to the same point, it was a poor chase with no traffic and even no pedestrians, even no parked cars, so it doesnt look realistic nor as if they were on a real street from a real city, the cars are quite destroyed because they ram each other several times but that's all, no good driving, no great stunts.

I thought it was a fairly good chase scene. It's quite short and there's no over the top stunts, just good simple old fashioned action with two Crown Vics ramming into the Suburban and some crashing. I'd say it does look fairly realistic. The lack of pedestrians and parked cars isn't all that unrealistic for a central business district area of an American city out of working hours. The centre of Sacramento and even downtown LA turn into ghost towns out of working hours.
