Impéria 1904-1958 "Montées en Belgique... Pour la Belgique!" 92 cars are still in existence of the 20,000 made. The factory at Nessonvaux is now derelict, VW wanted to build Beetles there after WW-II, but the workers refused and production went to Vorst/Forest near Brussels. Perhaps someone needs to listen to the soundtrack to get some clues on the identity of some of these cars - particularly those in competition. |

Hmmm... a great solution except I understand the soundtrack very well it's in Dutch with interviews in French. They talk about the origins of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit while showing footage of early races, but details about the cars are never given. Even most of the Imperias aren't properly identified, just the year at best. -- Last edit: 2011-07-06 00:45:26 |

'TA' on these models stands for 'Traction Avant', so front wheel drive well before Citroën. |
