1. Checker started it's production in 1923 2. For me this not a Checker, but a 1925-1926 Yellow Cab Brougham Taxicab Model 0-4 from Yellow Cab factory from Chicago. Pilou, you're right, it'could be a Chevrolet V8. But I try to find a picture. This kind of 4-seater roadster is not very commun. I have books with thoses pictures, but all are in my move. Do some-one has one of thoses books to look: - Floyd Clymer reedition of the 1916-1917-1918 US cars annuals - same reedited in the Dover serie - 75 Years of Chevrolet = Crestline edition En français: le problème: toutes les Chevrolet V8 phaeton que j'ai vu, le pare-brise est droit, et pas en oblique. Le galbe entre le pare-brise et la porte-avant n'est pas le même = mais c'est peut-être le dessinateur qui a amélioré. On reconnait les modèles à la décoration arrière de l'aile et l'endroit du logo: Super & Special = ligne horizontale sans logo Century = ligne horizontale avec logo Roadmaster = idem avec un peu plus de chrome Limited= petites barres verticales Firebird a raison = c'est une Special 4-door Riviera sedan. Très facile: 1. la barre de soutien des phares avant arcée vers le bas = inhabituelle pour l'époque et uniquement chez Erskine/Studebaker 2. le galbe de l'aile avant et l'enchencrure est différent sur chaque voiture 3. vu les proportions (distance par rapport au trotoir) = voiture de relativement petite dimension (genre voiture bas de gamme) 4. film tourné aux USA = donc uniquement voiture USA et j'ai vérifié toutes les ailes de toutes les marques populaires, aucune ne correspondait exactement. Simple cher docteur Watson !!! PS.: Tous mes catalogues d'époque sont encore emballés dans mon déménagement, aussinon, j'aurais eu plus facile.
