Its a DBR2 - you can see the chrome strip on the air outlet. The DB3S didn't have the outlet and DBR1 didn't have that strip. Link to "images.google.com"

1937 Buick Century Custom originally by Bohman & Schwartz
Roadracers (1959)
I think the comments above are right. Original was used in Topper, Gillmore and then Mobile used the car for promotions and it ended up in a collection. If this is the last version, I believe it is on a 1954 Chrysler chassis. Don't have a clue what to call it. As Richard of C says, it was originally a modified 36 Buick. So it appears to be a modified buick body on a chrysler chassis. Maybe a Chryick  2007-05-21 03:27

Although the logo looks strange to me, everything else does look like a 1938 dodge http://mclellansautomotive.com/photos/B22850.jpg

Edit:

found the logo and 1938 dodge is correct. This logo was last used on the 1938 models http://www.users.qwest.net/~hrellis/Dodge_files/image001.jpg - Never to old to learn new things :D

Taggart (1983-2010)
lh2 wrote strong how can you do that put taped videos onto dvd

Done with a video capture card in the computer and a dvd burner. You can capture a movie to the hard drive from cable, antenna, vcr (or dvd player depending on copy protection) and then burn it to a dvd. The only down side is that the resulting dvd has the same quality as the original source. So if its a crappy old movie on TV then you will get a crappy old dvd also.

I don't think so. Front seems wrong and I don't think delahaye had that louvered bonner and marker light on top of the fender.

I don't mind the occassional off topic picture. However, you are right Antp, we don't want it to become a precedent. Perhaps we should make this page for the tractor (still unknown) - that would keep the interesting pics and avoid future conflict. 2007-05-04 21:25

Good find on the portable engine Alexander. I didn't notice the tow bar until folks pointed it out. I guess the only self-propelled vehicle on the page is the tractor. However, this equipment is more interesting than the lawn mowers we posted recently.

I thought the steam tractor would be easy to identify with the huge flywheel set up at the front of the boiler (most are on the other end of the engine) but I can't find anything with that characteristic. :(

I don't think the big machine is a combine harvester it appears to be a Ransomes Threshing Machine of the late 1930s early 1940s see: http://www.leeds.gov.uk/templenewsam/farm/farm_graphics/fm_th.jpg

No idea about the tractor.
