| 1930 Ford Model A Fifth Gear (2002-2013) |
It has a flat head V8 engine and the radiator shell looks like a 1932. I would think its a 1932 Model 18 - somewhat modified (fenders and bumber removed). Edit: There were two models in 1932, the model B had an inline 4 cylinder engine and the model 18 had the new V8. Practically the only difference was the engine. -- Last edit: 2007-11-12 22:38:28 |

| 1954 MG TF Columbo: A Matter of Honor (1976) | Looks like a MG TF 1500 to me. | 2007-11-01 16:42 | |
| 1956 Buick Century House of Terror (1973) | It is a 1956 but not enough detail to tell model. | 2007-10-30 19:33 | |
| Kaiser Jeep M-715 1¼ ton 4x4 Sliders (1995-2000) | Looks like a late 1970's jeep wagoneer? | 2007-10-28 22:56 | |
| 1940 Ford V8 De Luxe Coupe [01A] Thunder Road (1958) | is this picture really for the sedan rather than the coupe? | 2007-10-26 03:31 | |

I don't mind arrows, highlighting, etc as it helps quickly id the car we are looking for. In addition it may help avoid the comments often made on the wrong car. Maybe you should post a poll on the forum and we could address it in the guidelines if enought members vote. -- Last edit: 2007-10-24 21:46:54 |

| 1981 Chevrolet Impala Columbo: Columbo and the Murder of a Rock Star (1991) | I agree ford guy. Most such cars are props prepared for the movie - not real police vehicles. | 2007-10-24 01:24 | |
| 1998 Ford Crown Victoria [P71] Body Armour (2007) | Chrome is more expensive to produce also cleaning up the chemicals used during the process is expensive since environmental laws for disposal are very strict. | 2007-10-20 04:25 | |
| 1964 Plymouth Barracuda Miami Vice (1984-1989) | Yes a 1964 - 1966 barracuda in the background. The 1967 didn't have the large rear window. | 2007-10-17 21:46 | |
| The Choppers (1961) | No problem, quality is perfectly OK. Some of my movies are unrestored or captured from TV but do yield acceptable pictures. | 2007-10-17 21:41 | |
| 1930 Buick Series 40 Phaeton [30-45] The Black Cat (1941) | Thanks, pilou and car nerd. I thought it might be too much of a good thing. The pic is so close that all you can see is the radiator with no logo. That is the only good shot in the movie. | 2007-10-17 17:37 | |
| 1955 Plymouth Savoy Club Sedan Vertigo (1958) | Yes, main pic is a 55. | 2007-10-17 03:42 | |
| Lanchester 40 hp Landaulette The Blue Max (1966) |
We had a similar car with a similar color some time ago but I can't remember the name. I don't recommend getting old |

| 1930 Buick Series 40 Phaeton [30-45] The Black Cat (1941) |
Thanks, I'll let it stay since its a 2 star car. Its a rather small car and I thought it looked more like an english car. Not big enough for a packard - those things were huge. -- Last edit: 2007-10-17 03:23:32 |

Only one car in the movie briefly used by main character. Hope it can be identified. If not, I will delete. -- Last edit: 2007-10-17 00:33:52 |

| 1937 Packard Twelve All Weather Cabriolet by LeBaron [1507] Footsteps in the Dark (1941) | I have often thought I would like to have a coupe de ville but I wouldn't want a chaufeur to drive it while I rode so that would defeat the whole purpose. | 2007-10-16 21:24 | |

| 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250 S [W108] Comme un boomerang (1976) | I often wonder at some of the sound effects that are in movies. Most engine sounds, especially for cars in traffic or chases, are probably dubbed in and may or may not be from the car being seen. | 2007-10-16 16:46 | |
| Delahaye 135 Cabriolet Le gang (1977) | WOW, nice car sixcyl - I really like the old Delahayes | 2007-10-15 03:00 | |

I'm confused, some of the pics have different registration numbers. Last thumbnail appears to be yjb877, third thumbnail has different mark but I can't read it. Are all pics supposted to be the same car? -- Last edit: 2007-09-30 19:30:21 |

I agree but should we use SS as the make or is it Swallow Sidecars with model SSII or Swallow Coachbuilding ? I thought that the company didn't change its name to SS until 1934 or 1935 -- Last edit: 2007-09-18 22:51:30 |

| 1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet Convertible 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001) | Not particularly slow. I believe they came standard with a 225 cid slant 6 engine and were relatively light cars. They can cruise confortably at 70 MPH with a top speed of about 100 MPH or maybe a little more. | 2007-09-18 22:21 | |
| 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Saxondale (2006-2013) |
There were five or six perfomance models of the mustang: Some were 'boss' some were 'mach 1' and some 'shelby'. Dialog is typical movie misinformation. ![]() |
