The Odd Couple (1970-1975)
Here's a cleaner pic of it, from ep. 1.15. It was also used in the first season opening credits.

1980 Subaru DL [AF]
Dallas (1978-1991)
Looks to be the same two star Cadillac from the same episode...guessing it's an '83 Eldorado. 2010-01-07 01:09
1981 Cadillac Eldorado
Dallas (1978-1991)
Looks to be the same Cadillac as the one star blue car from the same episode.

Guessing it's an '83 Eldorado.

1957 Chevrolet One-Fifty Four-Door Sedan [1503]
Route 66 (1960-1964)
I thought the One-Fifty Business Coupe didn't have a back seat? This one obviously does as it's a taxicab and people are seen getting out of the back. 2010-01-05 16:18
1954 De Soto Firedome
Panic in Year Zero! (1962)
Sounds right to me, I always did think it was a DeSoto, just wasn't sure. 2010-01-04 01:21
1949 Ford Custom Club Coupe [72B]
Panic in Year Zero! (1962)
This car only appears onscreen for a few seconds...just long enough for us to see it get destroyed. 2010-01-04 00:11
Panic in Year Zero! (1962) I get the feeling the film's "second unit" photographers set up on a freeway, on the first day of a holiday weekend (Memorial Day? Fourth of July?). There are an awful lot of station wagons in that footage. 2010-01-03 21:40
Panic in Year Zero! (1962) Thanks Firebird, I think I've added all of the ones I'm going to add. 2010-01-03 21:37

Panic in Year Zero! (1962)
The star vehicle, the main family in this film spend about half the movie in or around this car.

Dodge WC 56
Panic in Year Zero! (1962)
All I know about this one is that it's supposed to be a military vehicle, at least in this scene. 2010-01-03 21:11

Sorry, I thought I rated it...it's definitely three stars. 2010-01-03 02:19
1979 Ford F-250
Forrest Gump (1994)
The sticker becomes even funnier when, in the same scene, the truck gets broadsided, thus proving its point.

Incidentally, it doesn't appear well enough to get its own page, but if you look closely at one of the Alabama Crimson Tide (Roll Tide! my favorite team) football scenes, you'll see a 1961 Ford Fairlane painted as an Alabama State Trooper car from the period.

Pomtidom wrote it was the same type that became famous for the Freedom Riders which was firebombed outside Anniston, Alabama in 1961

No kidding. I work and live in that area and pass the site of that firebombing all the time, I never forget that it happened there.

1946 Studebaker M-Series
Route 66 (1960-1964)
This is what's being pursued in the series' first ever car chase (Buzz and Todd are chasing it in their Corvette). The truck ends up being destroyed when it runs off a cliff. 2009-12-22 15:42
1959 Chevrolet Biscayne
Route 66 (1960-1964)
This appears to be an actual New Orleans police car. This episode was filmed on location in New Orleans and I think this scene was even shot at the actual police department. 2009-12-22 14:28
1957 Chevrolet 4400

The Naked City (1948) Chico, I don't know if this clears things up but the original ratio was much different because I had to crop off black borders around the images, per the site's guidelines. I didn't try to stretch or resize it after that because the pics didn't (and still don't, to me) look distorted. 2009-12-21 18:05
The Naked City (1948) Sorry Chico, I never noticed the ratio issues. For some reason it looks okay on my work computer, and the two pics you posted look identical to each other. But the difference is more noticeable on my computer at home. I don't know how to fix that ratio since my program at home only does it by percentage and not by numbers of pixels. 2009-12-18 18:51

Chevrolet was not only the main car supplier for this show, they were also one of its biggest advertisers...hence, the Corvette.

1953 Ford
Taken For a Ride (1996)
I can't make out any mini-fins above the tailights, and if that's the case, it would be a 1953-54 Ford. 2009-12-15 20:54
1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu
Taken For a Ride (1996)
If it's the green one in the foreground, it looks to be a 1972 or so Chevrolet Malibu. 2009-12-15 20:52

1975 Jaguar XJ-C [Series II]
Same Time, Next Year (1978)
Interesting in that this scene takes place in 1972, so this would be an anachronism. 2009-12-11 14:46

1969 Chevrolet Biscayne

1960 Chevrolet Corvette [C1]
Route 66 (1960-1964)
The '60 only appears in the very first episode, it's replaced by the '61 in episode 1.2 For that reason, I would personally rank the '60 to be a four star vehicle. Obviously the '61 and later Corvettes would be five stars, since the whole point of the show is two guys touring the country in their Corvette and their car gets a great deal of screen time.
