Agree on Dodge, I would say mid 1970s. -- Last edit: 2010-12-30 15:03:21 |

| 1948 Ford F-1 Mary, Mary, Bloody Mary (1975) |
Yes, 1949-50 or so. Very nicely preserved for this time period. Edit: I can't see whether the areas around the headlights, on either side of the grille, are beige. If so, that would make this a '48. -- Last edit: 2010-12-30 15:01:13 |

| Spencer's Mountain (1963) |
Done. This movie was set present day, yet it inspired the TV series "The Waltons," which was set in the U.S. Depression of the 1930s. This movie was filmed on location in California and Wyoming (including Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole). |

Some of the Chevrolet Malibu Classic Estate wagons from the 1979-83 or so era did, indeed, have faux wood grain. Here's one example: http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5068 |

| 1948 Packard Custom Eight Victoria [2233] Back to the Future Part III (1990) |
The bad choice of clothes was noted by everyone in the movie, including Marty himself. He compared it to what Clint Eastwood would've worn. |

| Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964) | Interesting note, rjluna: the first two years this show appeared on TV, its main advertiser was actually General Electric. The first year, Herbie and the rest of the elves even did the commercials! | 2010-12-27 17:53 | |

| 1982 Oldsmobile Firenza Return to Mayberry (1986) | We see Opie driving this car just long enough to crash it into the tree...just like he did with his bicycle in an episode of the series. | 2010-12-26 15:57 | |
| 1929 Ford Model AA Return to Mayberry (1986) | The Darlings are in this vehicle. They have the distinction of being the only characters to have the same make and model vehicle as they did on the original 1960s series. | 2010-12-26 15:56 | |
| 1964 Chevrolet C-Series Return to Mayberry (1986) | In this movie, Gomer and Goober run a garage together and this is their tow truck. | 2010-12-26 15:55 | |
| 1972 Chevrolet LUV Return to Mayberry (1986) | In the original series, Otis was the town drunk, but in this movie he's the town ice cream man. This is his work vehicle. | 2010-12-26 15:54 | |
| 1981 Chevrolet Malibu 9C1 Return to Mayberry (1986) | This was the Mayberry squad car driven by Barney. In the 1960s the Mayberry cruisers were always full-sized Fords. | 2010-12-26 15:53 | |
| 1981 Chevrolet Impala Return to Mayberry (1986) | This was Andy's car in the movie. Opie's wife gives birth in the back seat. | 2010-12-26 15:52 | |

| Christmas Cottage (2008) |
This movie, about a formative Christmas in the life of artist Thomas Kinkade, is set in 1977 but was released in 2008. You'll note a couple of more recent vintage cars got in by accident. -- Last edit: 2010-12-24 22:27:33 |

| Return to Mayberry (1986) | The 1986 TV movie that reunited the surviving cast and characters of "The Andy Griffith Show." Mayberry was a "Ford" town in the 1960s, but note in the 1980s it's become more of a Chevy town. | 2010-12-24 14:41 | |

| 1964 Dodge Dart Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964) | The highlighted car is a Dodge Dart, about '63-'64 or so. And I think I see a nice '64 Chrysler behind it. | 2010-12-18 16:18 | |
| 1964 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964) | Chevrolet C-10, and the thumbnail shows what appears to be the '62 grille. | 2010-12-18 16:16 | |
| 1964 Ford Custom Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964) | Ford Custom, in fact, based on the side trim. Agree with 1964. | 2010-12-18 16:14 | |
| 1965 Sunbeam Alpine Series V Get Smart (1965-1970) |
This appears to be a different car than the Tiger Max drives in the opening credits and throughout seasons one through three. It pops up late in season three. |

| 1975 Ford Granada Ghia Cheers (1982-1993) | This actually appeared in the opening credits for every episode during the show's 1982-93 run. The episode should probably be listed as "OpCr". | 2010-12-16 15:57 | |

| Get Smart (1965-1970) |
Completed: season 3 and most of season 2. Unfortunately Netflix has one season 2 disc missing. Hopefully I'll get my hands on that one soon and finally finish off the series. And one more thing: ![]() ![]() ![]() Should I add a page for this one? The badging and trim appears a little different from the '64 Sunbeam Tiger he drove the first few years and in the 1965-67 opening credits. ("Tiger" is missing from the front fenders and "Sunbeam" is missing from the trunk, plus there's one long, uninterrupted spear along the side. I'm assuming the gun wasn't factory original.) It could be an Alpine instead of a Tiger, or a Tiger from a different year...you tell me. -- Last edit: 2011-08-21 20:04:42 |
