1958 Harley-Davidson FL Duo Glide
The Twilight Zone (1959-1964)
Closest to camera in main pic, on the left in the thumbnail. The character riding it, seems to be their leader.

1958 Harley-Davidson FL Duo Glide
The Twilight Zone (1959-1964)
Each of these bikes can get an entry since they all play such a big role in this episode. Three stars each. Were they one or two stars, one entry would suffice. 2013-03-25 15:16

1961 Ford Fairlane
The Twilight Zone (1959-1964)
No, Fairlane. Galaxie would've had the script on the front edge of the fender. Fairlane was more commonly used for police cars. 2013-03-25 01:27
1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner Convertible [76B]
The Twilight Zone (1959-1964)
Just saw this episode and the car definitely had a boot. Sunliner. 2013-03-25 01:20
1973 Chevrolet Caprice Classic
Boulevard Nights (1979)
That doesn't look like a Caprice Classic grille, though (the one in the brochure does). Is it custom? 2013-03-20 04:48
1929 Buick Silver Anniversary Series 121 Sport Roadster [29-44]
Star Trek (1966-1969)
This, by the way, was filmed on the "Laverne & Shirley" street at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.

1968 Plymouth Satellite
Star Trek (1966-1969)
This is apparently the only then-current-year car to ever make it on screen during the entire original "Star Trek" series. Funny (but likely coincidental, since these were so common) that the car's model name would be "Satellite," on a show that's mostly about space travel. 2013-03-18 16:03

Star Trek (1966-1969)
I thought it might be a Cushman, too, but I'm not finding any that look like this one. I am seeing a lot of non-U.S. makes, oddly enough, that may not have ever made it to the U.S., that look a lot like it. And this scene is supposed to be in Houston, Texas. 2013-03-18 15:23

Star Trek (1966-1969)
No, it's not the Buick. It's the same one you see in the above thumbnail, and that one passes by in the same direction, uninterrupted shot, before the Buick slams on its brakes and its driver loudly scolds Kirk and Spock. Both cars are in the scene and are clearly different. 2013-03-18 07:08
1928 Chevrolet National Landau Sedan

That link is pretty convincing. 2013-03-18 06:32

1967 Custom Made Reactor Mach II Gene Winfield/'Jupiter 8'
Star Trek (1966-1969)
This is the "Jupiter 8," mentioned throughout the episode but only seen briefly, and twice. The fictional Jupiter Company and its dealers even sponsor the show that features gladiator-type fights to the death.

I suspect it's a real-life concept/show car.

1939 GMC AC 2½ Ton
Star Trek (1966-1969)

This vehicle plays a very short, but very important, role. Fortunately I'm sure I found it in "Mission: Impossible," shooting on the same lot at the same time.

Interesting choice for a southern sheriff's car. Windsor? New Yorker perhaps? I notice the tiny script on the front fender does appear to be two words. 2013-03-15 05:41
