Location: A big complex which belonged to the Franciscans (St. Josefsheim Waldniel), near Düsseldorf. Completed in 1913, the Nazis forced the order into bankruptcy in 1937, and used the area to murder disabled children from 1940 - 1945. In 1952, a British military hospital was build up there, which was changed into a British school (Kent school) in 1963. The area was abandoned in 1991. |

Origin is of course France, and the German name, which relates to the chassis, not to the gun, "Geschützwagen 39H (f)" can be added as extra info. The modification took place in 1942, although the tank was produced from 1933 - 1936, and as it probably never left France and the modifications were most likely done there, "Made for D", should be added, as it was modernised for the German army on French ground (Quite iritating in fact  ). |
