I've seen the movie, from the side, it's the '86 - '88 GT model, and it has to be an aftermarket blue repaint; this blue color is much too dark compared to the stock blue color offered in '87. 2009-02-17 01:09

What's the car in front of the '89/'90 prototype? Looks like another modified Fiero. 2008-03-08 02:21

'85 or '86 2M6, definitely not an '84. 2008-03-08 02:13

Ok, this car's gotta be an '85 SE for two reasons:
The speakers in the seats were only there for the first two years of production, '84 and '85, which rules out the possibility of it being an '86.
The rear decklid doesn't have the vent right over the engine (where the vent is a part of the decklid) like an '84, but instead has those two louvers on each side of the decklid, which was the standard practice for the car until '88.

But one thing I did notice just now was that the moonroof is an aftermarket install. 2008-03-08 01:57

I'm guessing this is an '86-'87 SE, unless it could be an '85 with the sail windows replaced with non-decal ones.
I'd like to take a look at the nose emblem too because it almost looks like a "Fiero GT" emblem.
