| The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968) | I know the show was sponsored by Ford, but I've always thought it's interesting how a small town like Mayberry was able to afford a brand new squad car every year. | 2012-01-06 05:54 | |
| Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) | Holmes and Watson are shown using a horseless carriage in 1891, just five years after the first Benz. It's likely custom made for the movie. | 2012-01-03 00:18 | |

| 1961 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe Pan Am (2011-2013) |
The car is driven roughly over the curb, then goes down the slope. You can watch this series on Hulu for free. I'm not a fan, but I'm mainly watching it to look for interesting cars in this time period. Too many anachronisms so far. Not only with cars- no one is shown smoking like the characters in Mad Men. The 1960s is long before my time and even this show is already looking pretty ridiculous. -- Last edit: 2011-09-26 23:47:47 |

| American Pickers (2010-2013) |
While this series is not completely car-oriented, it's still much better than the American version of Top Gear that airs on the same channel. BTW, I recently saw an episode that had a blue 1964 Rambler sitting on someone's property all covered with leaves. -- Last edit: 2011-08-10 03:51:51 |

| The Blues Brothers (1980) | I found the HD quality of this to be good, not great. Only a little better than the DVD. I wish they had done a better job with the transfer, as they did with "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" (which I also updated recently). The quality on that is so great that it almost seems like it was filmed in HD back in 1963! | 2011-07-29 05:44 | |
