| 1972 Volkswagen 1302 'Beetle' [Typ 1] Cop Target (1990) | Sure about a 1302? Not something South American? | 2009-03-07 22:40 | |
| 1968 Volkswagen Combi [Typ 2 / T2] Cop Target (1990) | Surely Mexican or Brazilian made. What was usually imported to the Dominican Republic? | 2009-03-07 22:39 | |
| Der Commander (1988) |
A tricky shot. From this angle they avoid the view of The Wall. -- Last edit: 2009-03-07 22:38:06 |

| Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse Brabus [W140] Kuitan (2006) |
http://www.brabus.com/ Yes. From outside the shop looks like a Mercedes-dealer by its styling. Nowadays you can see, that they have problems, too. Their whole parking-place is filled up with cars they cannot sell. I'm living not far away from there. |

| 1975 Volvo 244 The Sender (1997) | or 244? | 2009-03-07 22:15 | |
| 1984 Mercedes-Benz 190 [W201] Der Commander (1988) |
A taxi, so surely a 190 D. An impudence to use this small, uncomfortable thing as a taxi. |
2009-03-07 22:10 | |
| 1985 Volvo 740 [744] Der Commander (1988) | A taxi, so surely a Diesel (in orign the VW-engine of the LT-Transporter) | 2009-03-07 22:09 | |
| 1988 Audi 80 B3 [Typ 89] Der Commander (1988) | Does the guy wants to escape there on foot? Not very intelligent, it's just the "Tiergarten"-forest around. The location is the "Straße des 17.Juni" in West-Berlin, the monument in hte background the "Siegessäule" (called "Gold-Else" by the Berliners). It was erected in memoriam of the German/French war 1870/71. | 2009-03-07 21:53 | |
| 1984 Volkswagen Golf GL II [Typ 19E] Der Commander (1988) |
Yes. Golf II or Jetta II. Due the little chrome-trims in the window-rubbers (resp.chromated plastic) probably a GL-version. -- Last edit: 2009-03-07 21:42:53 |

| Der Commander (1988) |
The actor has a real "all-day-name" - Manfred Lehmann. He's a popular voice-actor, so he's "the voice" of Bruce Willis, Gérard Depardieu, Kurt Russell and Dolph Lundgren. Germans hate movies with subtitles, roundabout 99% of foreign movies, series or documentations were dubbed. |

| 2004 Ford Focus C-Max [C214] Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (1996-2013) |
Product placement. Ford Germany sits in Köln/Cologne and the Cobra-series is produced in the next town. |

| AC/DC: It's a long way to the top (If you wanna Rock 'N' Roll) (1976) |

| Gurgel Xavante X 12 Non c'è due senza quattro (1984) |
Sorry, my fault, the correct title is: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076544/ I just wrote it, as I had it in my mind - I don't know Italian. ![]() Oh, I found a deleted scene at youtube! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHXINubIWxw The Ford Taunus [TC2] (Swakopmund license-plate) is missing in the original movie (I own a VHS-tape). The scene with the bike and the sidecar was not cutted out. And I'm just thinking, where would be a good place in our house for the frame with the original movie-poster. I'm still on the seach for a vinyl record with the theme of this movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c07kbci6vzA&feature=related But I guess, it wasn't released on vinyl. -- Last edit: 2009-03-07 15:12:42 |

| 2001 Zhongxing Qijian BQ6472 An Inconvenient Truth (2006) |
A copy of what? Or indeed 100% Chinese? |
2009-03-07 14:55 | |
| 1977 KrAZ 257 B1 An Inconvenient Truth (2006) | Yes, something Russian. I guess, the story, which belongs to this pic goes about the melting permafrost in Siberia. | 2009-03-07 14:40 | |
| 2000 Shanghai-Volkswagen Passat [Typ 3B] An Inconvenient Truth (2006) | Longer wheelbase than the European Passat 3B. The 1st gen Skoda Superb based on this Chinese Passat. | 2009-03-07 14:39 | |
| 2004 Honda Insight [ZE1] An Inconvenient Truth (2006) | I've seen this car listed in rankings for "The ugliest cars in the world". I agree, that it belongs to that list. | 2009-03-07 14:37 | |
| 1992 Subaru Legacy [BC] An Inconvenient Truth (2006) |
Flood after heavy rain-falls: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpenhochwasser_2005 Some pics like this one were shown later own in the www with the text "ladies parking only" |

| 1976 Ford LTD Landau Stretched Limousine Non c'è due senza quattro (1984) | By the front I had a little ZIL-impression... | 2009-03-05 22:42 | |
| Gurgel Xavante X 12 Non c'è due senza quattro (1984) | As I wrote somewhere else, there is annother Gurgel to see in a Bud Spencer-movie. In "Piedone e Africa", filmed in the former Southwest-Africa, today Namibia. | 2009-03-05 22:38 | |
| 1976 Volkswagen Kombi Pick-Up [Typ 2] Bye Bye Brasil (1979) | The base is definetely a T2. | 2009-03-05 22:27 | |
| 1976 Volkswagen Passat B1 [Typ 32] Bye Bye Brasil (1979) |
I don't know, how it was in Brazil, but the lack of the side chrome-trims identify it as a basic model. Otherwise were in Europe the openable small triangle-window only available for the -very rare- "LX"-version. btw.: this hyper-rare extra makes European Passat-freaks thinking about to go for vacations to Brazil, just for trying to find some (and back lamps with red indicator-glasses, too) ![]() |
2009-03-05 22:25 | |
| 1999 Volkswagen Cabrio III [Typ 1H] Carts of Darkness (2008) |
Why a wagon It looks very much like a Convertible! It has a lookalike Golf IV-front, but finally it's a facelifted Golf III. There was no Golf IV Convertible. |
2009-03-05 22:11 | |
| 1988 BMW 635 CSi [E24] Thick as Thieves (2009) | Made for USA - totally strange bumpers. On the first view I thought, someone has played with CGI. | 2009-03-05 22:08 | |
| 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Non c'è due senza quattro (1984) |
The scene with the bad finger of Terence Hill belongs to this car. ![]() |
2009-03-05 22:07 | |
| 1967 NSU Prinz 4 Il commissario Pepe (1969) | By the bumpers 1967+, not 1962+ | 2009-03-05 22:02 | |
| 1963 Volkswagen 1200 [Typ 1] Dögkeselyü (1982) | Mid 60ies, I would say. By this angle hard to identify details. No export-bumpers, the tiny oval grilles in the fenders, bigger front window, no Wolfsburg-logo on the front hood. | 2009-03-05 21:58 | |
| 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250 S [W108] Dögkeselyü (1982) | By the length of the badge perhaps a 250 S. | 2009-03-05 21:55 | |
| 1959 Renault Floride [R1092] Koniec naszego swiata (1964) |
I have the impression, that there were quite a lot of Florides/Caravelles exported to Poland. ![]() Here are listed several from Polish movies. |
2009-03-04 22:29 | |
| 1968 Subaru 360 The Gumball Rally (1976) | In 1993 I have seen a few of them on the legendary VW-junkyard in Alamogordo/New Mexico. Except a plenty of VW's the guy also had a few other cars, like these Subaru's. I remember also a Fiat 1500 Convertible. | 2009-03-04 22:28 | |
| 1981 Volkswagen Passat B2 [Typ 32B] The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) | Rare two-door-version. On the right a -also rare- VW Derby [86C]. | 2009-03-04 22:24 | |
| 1991 Rover Mini Cooper MkV [ADO20] Inugami (2001) | Rover Mini, it's a late version. | 2009-03-04 22:21 | |
| Mercedes-Benz ML [W163] The Chaser's War on Everything (2006-2013) | Built in USA | 2009-03-03 22:31 | |
| 1973 Ford Capri MkI The Quiet Earth (1985) |
If we will look exactly for historical reasons, the German black-red-gold-flag for vehicles from the Nazi-time is incorrect. This flag was illegal then. And in the pre-1918-times the German flag was black-white-red. And the GDR had in its first years not the hammer-and-compass-seal in its flag... |
2009-03-03 22:26 | |
| 1965 Renault R8 Gordini 1100 [R1134] Classic Bathurst Crashes (2001) | But the wheels are definetely Gordini, or? | 2009-03-03 22:19 | |
| 1970 Volkswagen Delivery Van [Typ 2 / T2] The Jigsaw Man (1983) | The green car on the left of the main pic is a Chrysler-Simca 1307/1308. | 2009-03-03 22:08 | |
| 1972 Volkswagen 1302 [Typ 1] The Jigsaw Man (1983) | colour "geminimetallic" | 2009-03-03 22:06 | |
| 1964 Volkswagen Micro Bus [Typ 2 / T1] Born Free (1966) |
If the scene is from Kenya, could it be a South African made Kombi? For these openable front-windows the Bulli-freaks are going crazy... |
2009-03-03 22:00 | |
| Opel Blitz Cafe pod Minoga (1959) | @rljuna2: these concealment-lights were mandatory in Germany during the WWII, not only for military verhicles. Also the (very few left over) civil vehicles had to use them. | 2009-03-03 21:57 | |
| 1978 Chrysler 180 [949] La mort en direct (1980) |
The mirror-inverted front-lamp-lenses. ![]() |
2009-03-03 21:54 | |
| 1969 Audi 100 C1 [F104] La mort en direct (1980) | Sure about 1969? Could there be the small horizontal chrome-strip in the back lamp from a later model? | 2009-03-03 21:50 | |
| 1967 Opel Rekord L [C] A Hamis Izabella (1968) | The plate was meant to be Swiss? | 2009-03-03 21:46 | |
| 1958 Opel Rekord [P] A Hamis Izabella (1968) | Not a Rekord A, it's an Olympia Rekord [P1] | 2009-03-03 21:46 | |
| 1977 Volkswagen Sedan 'Vocho' [Typ 1] El Crimen del padre Amaro (2002) | By the bumper obviously a car from the late 90ies. Perhaps a brandnew 2002-model. | 2009-03-03 21:44 | |

| Mazda RX-3 Classic Bathurst Crashes (2001) | The Golf I in front of Passat and Mazda is a very early one, 1974/75 only. It has the old back panel. | 2009-03-01 09:20 | |
| Mazda RX-3 Classic Bathurst Crashes (2001) |
Oh, on the left is a 1974+ VW Passat. Quite unusual racing car. |
2009-03-01 09:16 | |
| Toyota Corolla GT Group A [AE86] Classic Bathurst Crashes (2001) | Celica. 1981+, I would say. | 2009-03-01 09:14 | |
| 1972 Ford Capri GT Group C MkI Classic Bathurst Crashes (2001) |
